Learn how to get Outlook set up to work with Office 365, POP, IMAP, or Microsoft. Outlook for PC Outlook for Mac. For Outlook for Office 365 and Outlook 2016. Then you can send and receive business emails from your phone. Alternatively, you can download Outlook 2016 and add your Office 365 email. Open Apple Mail and click Mail. Click Add Account. Select Exchange and click Continue. Enter your name, Office 365 email address and password. Click Sign In.
Follow the instructions below to setup Microsoft Outlook after the Microsoft Office 2016 installation has completed. In order to ensure a successful import of your data to Microsoft Outlook 2016, you should be running version Microsoft Outlook 2011 version 14.3.5 or above. Please contact the (617-495-7777) for assistance if Microsoft Outlook 2011 needs to be updated.
Click the ‘Finder’ icon located on your dock at the bottom of the screen (Figure 1, A). Select ‘Applications’ on the left side of the ‘Finder’ window (Figure 1, B). Click ‘Microsoft Outlook’ to open Microsoft Outlook 2016 (Figure 1, C).

If you receive a notification that Outlook was redirected;. Check the ‘Always use my response for this server’ (Figure 5, A). Then click ‘Allow’ (Figure 5, B).

If you do not have a right click mouse or track pad:. Control click to add it to the dock OR. Hold the click until the contextual menu comes up. Then hover over ‘Options’ and select ‘Keep in Doc’. Side note: You can add all other Microsoft Office 2016 applications to your dock as well.
Just follow steps 1 through 3 to launch the application and step 10 to add the application to your dock. Please give your Outlook 2016 client some time to sync.

Note: Having two accounts solves a common issue in some companies where the user (let’s say [email protected] wants to send message as [email protected]) and for this kind of scenario two accounts are required. If the user just wants to receive both accounts, then it is easier to add both SMTP address into the same mailbox. In the main area of the Outlook, we will see both accounts under Inbox.
That’s all you need to know to configure the Outlook for Mac to support additional accounts and two of the main things on the end-user side which is the ability to send with the desired account, and how to read information based on the mailbox. I have a Macbook Air running El Capitan. Outlook 2016 (15.29).
When I try to add my two Office365 accounts, one of them goes offline. I deleted one and added it again and both were online, but then the second one dropped off. I deleted the second one and added again. The stayed up for a bit (10 mins or so) but then the first one dropped off. This is something new since the latest upgrade, as they have worked fine before. Am I right in assuming that I should be able to have several Exchange account inthe app?
